Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the ConcreteInfo Concrete Mix Management System ("Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Subscriber Agreement, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.
2. Account Registration
You must register an account to use the Platform. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
- Maintain and promptly update your account details
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. Accounts registered with false information are subject to immediate termination.
3. Use License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and your subscription plan, ConcreteInfo grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for your internal concrete mix design, material testing, and quality control purposes. You may not:
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the Platform
- Use the Platform for any commercial purpose beyond your licensed subscription
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Platform
- Attempt to reverse engineer any calculation methodology or software component
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform
4. Mix Design and Engineering Disclaimer
The Platform provides calculated values based on published engineering standards including IS 10262:2019, ACI 211.1, BRMCA, EFNARC, and other reference codes. These are preliminary design values, not guaranteed engineering specifications.
All mix designs must be verified through laboratory testing and trial mixes before use in any construction project. ConcreteInfo is not responsible for:
- Structural failures or construction defects arising from unverified mix designs
- Variations between calculated and actual concrete performance
- Non-compliance with local building codes or project specifications
- Financial losses resulting from design decisions based solely on Platform calculations
Compliance with IS, ACI, ASTM, or any other standard referenced is the sole responsibility of the user and their qualified engineer.
5. User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for:
- Verifying all calculations through appropriate laboratory testing per IS 516, IS 1199, and other applicable standards
- Ensuring compliance with local building codes, IS 456, and project specifications
- Using appropriate safety measures during concrete mixing, testing, and placement
- Maintaining the confidentiality and security of their account credentials
- Ensuring that all test data entered is accurate and represents actual laboratory results
- Retaining all design calculations, test results, and batch records as required by applicable regulations
6. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its design, calculation engines, user interface, code, and methodology, is the exclusive property of ConcreteInfo and is protected by copyright, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all data you input into the Platform.
ConcreteInfo may use anonymized, aggregated usage data to improve the Platform and publish industry benchmarks. No personally identifiable information or proprietary designs are included.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- ConcreteInfo makes no warranties, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- ConcreteInfo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim
8. Modifications
ConcreteInfo reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
